Brighton Area Schools ~ On-Line Pre-Enrollment
Thank you for your interest in Brighton Area Schools and starting the enrollment process for your student(s). We look forward to working with you and your family.
Before you begin, please take a minute and read these IMPORTANT NOTES for best success:
- Completing the pre-enrollment does not automatically enroll your student. ALL required documents must be received before we can proceed with final steps in the enrollment.
- TIPS for uploading your required documents within pre-enroll: avoid photos/screenshots from your phone as resolution and file types vary and not all can be visible with this system. Best if you scan in PDF format; provide the entire document - not just a portion; multiple page documents should be scanned into one file; all submissions must be legible and printable or you may be asked to resubmit.
- Be sure to fully submit your pre-enrollment as the instructions indicate or our office staff will not be able to view your entry.
- If you are a School of Choice (SOC) family, you must complete the SOC application process prior to submitting any pre-enrollment information. Visit the SOC webpage within the Enrollment section for more information.
To begin the pre-enrollment process:
- Select Start a New Pre-Enrollment when starting the enrollment. You will be required to create an account using an email address and creating a password. Please save your password - as it will be needed to log back in should any updates need to be made to your submission.
- Select Continue a Pre-Enrollment in Progress to return to a previously started pre-enrollment.
- The Required Fields are highlighted in yellow.
- For Kindergarten and Jr. Kindergarten ... the age requirement is the same. A student must be 5 years of age on or before December 1st of the enrolling school year. An AGE WAIVER is required for any student who turns 5 between September 2nd and December 1st regardless of which program they are enrolling in. Students turning 5 after December 1st, must wait to enroll for the following school year.
***This enrollment process is for IN DISTRICT JK-12 students who are NOT currently enrolled/attending.***
School of Choice students must have received an approval letter before starting this process.
Please READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY on every page throughout this process and use your student's full LEGAL name as it appears on the birth certificate.
